Dinner-Concert Tammy Weis

Born in northern Canada, Tammy grew up surrounded by music, influenced by her great-grandfather, who played the banjo and violin. She began singing at the age of three and, in 2005, released her debut album, which gained international recognition and took her to prestigious jazz stages and festivals, including Montreal, Toronto and Vancouver. In 2010, she was named London Jazz Vocalist of the Year, further establishing her international career. Her latest album, Where I Need to Be, was launched at the legendary Ronnie Scott’s Jazz Club and features collaborations with acclaimed artists, including Grammy Award winner Terry Britten. Now based in Lisbon, Tammy is currently developing a new project inspired by the work of Fernando Pessoa, bringing together music and poetry in a tribute to one of Portugal’s greatest literary figures.
