Impar Series - 3 oenologist, 3 regions, 4 wines
Sogrape is perhaps the producer with the most preconceptions when it comes to wine in Portugal. It produces labels as well-known as Mateus Rosé or Callabriga, and ranging up to the iconic Reserva Especial, Barca Velha or Legado, which has been increasingly presenting itself with new dynamics, new projects and new wines. Challenged by Fernando da Cunha Guedes (CEO of Sogrape), the winemaking team has created four wines that go beyond the preconceptions. They are wines produced in regions that are not normally associated with Sogrape, from very old vines and ancestral Portuguese grape varieties. In this tasting we will count on the three winemakers to explain how these wines come about and talk about this irreverent side of Sogrape.
