Presentation "Notebook of my life" Joana Vasconcelos

To celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Portuguese artist Joana Vasconcelos, Urucum Editora has created an exquisite, limited edition of 9 copies and strictly handmade, with the purpose of sharing several of the artist's notebooks that document her creative process and work. It is in them that one can find the first sketches of the organic forms that made Joana Vasconcelos known worldwide. At this event the "Notebook of my life number 12" will be launched. A personal record of the artist Joana Vasconcelos' first exhibition at Serralves, with the 1996 Trianons project and a series of jewelry creations. Each large format notebook is accompanied by an original work: a tile panel, unique to each copy. The copyright of this project is fully owned by the Joana Vasconcelos Foundation.
