Loic Pasquet had the audacity to break with the "parkerisation" that the Bordeaux region had seen in recent decades and planted vines in free-standing, with a selection of grape varieties similar to that which existed before phylloxera destroyed almost all the vineyards in the world. He selected specific varieties and clones from INAO (French Oenology and Agriculture Institute) and revolutionized what was done there. Loic Pasquet created discomfort in the big producers, but gained great recognition. Proof of this were the visits of President Emmanuel Macron and Prince Albert of Monaco, who confirmed the value of Bordeaux's historical heritage.
In a month dedicated to Bórdeus in our JNcQUOI, we could not miss the presence of this producer, with a unique dinner and the possibility to taste one of the rarest wines in the world and feel the texture of the great Bordeaux of the early twentieth century.
